Oil????????

Soybean Oil. Is there any alternate oil I can use in my cake mix. The recipe says soybean oil, but I don't have that. Can I use regular oil or vegetable oil?

4. For a cake canola or vegetable oil will be fine. The cake will work but the nutritional values might change a bit.

9. Yes you can use vegetable oil but not olive oil as the latter is too heavy in cakemaking.

11. Yes, soybean oil isn't required. Vegetable oil is fine. I'm trying to think of what "regular" oil is.
