What was the average monthly price of oil in september and october?

He everyone, I am looking for data on the average national (US) price of oil per gallon in recent months, specifically in september and october. Can anyone give me a quote or know where I can find such statistic? Also, is the threat of recession and recent plunge in the stock market likely to result in lower or higher oil prices? Thank you.

1. The prices were $350-$358 a gal. These prices continue to rise.

But, be sure to go to the bottom of your screen and click the box that says, Show Crude Oil Price. Then your answer will appear for September and October. You could use the chart to find out oil prices and the relation it has to gasoline prices.
